Instructions for reviewers

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Important information:

• Deadline for accepting the review: 2 days (48 hours) from the date of receiving the article review request.

• Deadline for completing the review: 7 days from the date of accepting the review.

• Method of submitting the review: exclusively through the E4E portal. You need to create a profile on the portal (if you have not done so already). If you are added as a reviewer without having created a profile, you will receive login credentials via email which you can use to access the portal.

• Instructions: as part of the review, it is mandatory to state the categorisation of the paper in accordance with the table attached to this letter.

Paper categorisation

• ORIGINAL SCIENTIFIC PAPER – a paper that presents previously unpublished results of original research in full.

• PRELIMINARY COMMUNICATION – a paper that presents previously unpublished preliminary results of ongoing scientific research which are desirable to publish quickly.

• REVIEW ARTICLE – a paper that provides an original, concise, and critical overview of a field or one of its parts, in which the author actively participates. The author’s original contribution must be highlighted in relation to already published works, along with an overview of those works.

• PROFESSIONAL PAPER – a paper that contains useful contributions from the professional field which are not based on the author's original research, and the presented observations do not necessarily represent new findings in the profession.
